WEEK 11 - March 17, 2013
Well, sure and it 'tis,
St. Patricks Day! The smell 'o Corned Beef is rising from the pot on the stove as I type this. (Really!)
I have a wee bit 'o Irish in me blood, (but on St. Patricks Day don't we all?).
I wanted to do a photo to tie in with the day, but didn't have a lot to work with. Spring hasn't really sprung yet, so shamrocks were in short supply. I did find a patch of moss in the backyard and some lawn clover though, and so with the use of an extension tube, was able to make the posted shot. Technical details are posted.
Not much more to say about this. It's not my finest photo so far in this Project 52, but perhaps it'll look better after a beer or two. (grin)
Now here's a toast for ye -
Wherever you go and
whatever you do,
May the luck of the Irish be there with you.
As you slide down the banister of life,
may the splinters never point in the wrong direction.
May you live as long as you want, a
and never want as long as you live,
and
May the Lord keep you in His hand
and never close His fist too tight.
